“One minute of darkness will not make us blind” (2016) is a diary and being a diary doesn’t handle a concrete subject or follow a narrative line. The project is intended to be seen more as a visual poetry, that includes portraits, landscapes, everyday snapshots together with some personal writing and drawings. The source for the images is autobiographical, as well as metaphorical. The work doesn’t depict aspects of one’s life as they are but, using an associative approach, gives some hints to enable a viewer to create his own route into the story. The project aims to face some crucial questions of contemporary visual culture: what is ugly and what is beautiful? What is private and what is public?
